In the globalized world of the twenty-first century, it is the school’s task to reach everyone.
Education is like having a fleet of aircrafts with a very precious load: the passion for knowledge and the tools to imagine and realize a socioeconomically sustainable future.
Each "student" is a different landing strip, situated in a context characterized by unique environmental conditions.
Some landing strips are easy to reach, others are in rough and remote places.
Nevertheless, for the competitiveness of countries and for social justice, the loads must all be delivered.
The lights that mark the strips are sometimes obvious, others light up intermittently or are completely off. The lights are the passions, the interests and the goals of the students, the motivations that make learning meaningful.
When the lights turn on intermittently or are off, one must be patient.
We must know how to wait, motivate and put emotions into play.
The more lights mark the track, the greater the possibility of reaching the destination.
Yet the most difficult places to reach almost always offer the most rewarding and exciting views.
The different journeys of education must all be completed, whatever the environmental conditions in which we operate, because each student represents an infinite potential that must be understood and valued.
